Taylah Farr is a solicitor in OMB Solicitors’ Litigation team, assisting clients across a wide range of insurance litigation and civil dispute matters. Her practice includes medical negligence, motor vehicle claims, public liability claims, workplace injury matters, coronial inquests, and general civil litigation. She acts for both plaintiffs and defendants, managing matters from inception through to litigation and trial preparation.
Before joining OMB Solicitors, Taylah gained valuable experience in barristers’ chambers and community legal services, working on matters across multiple jurisdictions and developing a nuanced understanding of diverse client needs. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University with specialisations in Legal Practice and Corporate and Commercial Law, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and is currently completing a Master of Laws.
Taylah combines legal acumen with sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism, qualities which are essential in her field. She has assisted in matters before the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts, and has instructed counsel in mediations and hearings across Queensland and interstate. Having worked with a broad spectrum of clients, she understands that successful litigation involves more than favourable outcomes. It demands careful risk management, reputation protection, and the resolution of matters with precision and empathy.
She brings a sharp legal mind, strong advocacy skills, and a genuine commitment to client care. Her approach is both strategic and compassionate, balancing legal precision with an appreciation of the personal and commercial stakes for her clients. These skills were further strengthened during her tenure as Vice President (Representation) of the Bond University Student Association, where she conferred, prepared, and appeared on behalf of student body members in general and academic misconduct matters, advocating with fairness and diplomacy.
Passionate about achieving practical and just outcomes, Taylah values building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Outside of her legal work, she is an active member of several professional associations, where she enjoys networking and fostering connections within the legal community.
